Is this Namecheap’s official website?
No. Register Domain is an independent guide published by 4 Life Health Wealth LLC / Shopfront Stack. We recommend Namecheap as a default registrar for many local businesses. We do not impersonate Namecheap’s store, login, or support. Account problems go to Namecheap, not to us.
Do you make money if I buy?
Yes, if you use our labeled affiliate hop at /go/namecheap and a commission is later attributed through CJ Affiliate. You should not pay more because of that. Details are on the disclosure page. Until live CJ deep links are pasted in, that hop sends you to Namecheap’s public homepage.
Why not GoDaddy as the default here?
GoDaddy is the default on our sister lander Start A Site when you want one vendor for domain, first page, and mail. This URL is for people who want a registrar-first purchase and care about year-two pricing and included privacy. Both recommendations can be true for different shops.
Will you quote today’s .com price?
No. First-year teasers and renewals move. Verify current register, renew, and transfer prices on Namecheap’s domain pricing page. We will not invent an “as of” number or a coupon we cannot date and source.
Do I have to host the website at Namecheap?
No. A domain and a website are different products. Register the name, then point it at the builder or host you actually intend to use. Buying unused hosting because it appeared next to the search box is how year one gets messy.
What if I already bought a domain somewhere else?
Keep it. Point the site at that name. Transferring for sport is how mail breaks. This default is for people who do not have a name yet.
Do you run a cookie popup?
No. Reading the guides does not require cookies. Clicking /go/namecheap may set merchant and CJ cookies for commission attribution. See the privacy policy.
Can you log into my Namecheap account?
No. We cannot reset your password or see your cart. Write gary@4lifehealthwealth.com for corrections to our guides, not for merchant support.
